Escurrir vs. drenar vs. desaguar
While escurrir, drenar, and desaguar can all be translated as "to drain," they describe different types of action. Escurrir usually involves wringing out or drip-drying, drenar implies drawing liquid out through a system or channel (often technical or medical), and desaguar focuses specifically on emptying water out of a container or space.
